What is Poc Off?
The hurling prediction league that should have existed years ago.
Every summer, the All-Ireland Hurling Championship produces some of the most dramatic sport in the world β€” Munster derbies, provincial shocks, All-Ireland finals that go to the wire. And yet there was no dedicated place for hurling fans to make their predictions, compete with friends, and track how well they called it across the full championship.
Poc Off fixes that. Pick the winner of every game from the provincial round robins all the way through to the All-Ireland Final in Croke Park. Create a private group with your friends, share an invite link, and see who knows their hurling best come July.
The 2026 championship
The 2026 All-Ireland Senior Hurling Championship features 16 teams across three provincial competitions β€” Munster, Leinster, and the Joe McDonagh Cup β€” before the top teams converge for the All-Ireland knockout stages.

Points up for grabs
The championship runs from April 18th through to the All-Ireland Final on July 19th at Croke Park β€” three months of hurling to call correctly.
How it works
Pick winners, earn points, beat your friends. Simple as that β€” here's the detail.
Two phases
1Provincial phase
Pick the winner (or draw) for every round robin game across Munster, Leinster, and the Joe McDonagh Cup. Once you've completed your round robin picks for a province, you unlock the provincial final β€” pick which two teams make it and who wins.
2All-Ireland phase
Once the provincial finals are played and the All-Ireland draw is confirmed, the knockout bracket opens. Pick your way from the Preliminary Quarter-Finals all the way to the All-Ireland Final. This phase opens in early June β€” you'll be notified when it's live.

Preliminary QF winnerAll-Ireland2pts
Quarter-final winnerAll-Ireland3pts
Semi-final winnerAll-Ireland4pts
All-Ireland Final winnerAll-Ireland6pts
Maximum possible score: 73 points. All points are cumulative β€” the more phases you engage with, the more you're eligible to earn.
Pick locks
Every game has its own lock time β€” picks close at throw-in. There is no single deadline for the whole championship. If you miss a game's window, that match just scores zero β€” you can still make picks for every other game.
You can change your pick for any game right up until throw-in. After that it's locked and can't be changed.
Provincial finals
Pick which two teams you think will contest each provincial final and who wins. You can do this at any time β€” you don't need to complete your round robin picks first. The two finalists can be any teams in the competition β€” it doesn't matter which is listed as home or away.
Groups
Create a group and share the invite link with friends. Everyone in the group sees each other's scores on a leaderboard, and you can tap anyone to see a head-to-head comparison of your picks once the championship starts.
You can be in multiple groups β€” useful if you want to run a separate league with work and with family, for example.
FAQ
Can I change my picks after submitting?+
Yes β€” you can change any pick right up until that game's throw-in time. After throw-in the pick is locked and can't be changed. There's no single submission deadline for the whole championship.
What if I miss a game and don't make a pick?+
That game just scores zero for you. You can still make picks for every other game β€” missing one game doesn't affect the rest of your picks in any way.
Can there be draws in the round robin?+
Yes β€” draws are possible in the provincial round robins (Munster, Leinster, McDonagh). Each match card has a Draw option between the two teams. Draws are not possible in the knockout stages.
How does the provincial final work?+
The provincial final picker is available at any time β€” you don't need to complete your round robin picks first. Pick which two teams you think will contest the final (any two teams in that competition, home/away doesn't matter) and who wins. Scores 3 points if correct.
When does the All-Ireland phase open?+
The All-Ireland knockout bracket opens after the provincial finals in early June, once the draw is confirmed and the eight teams are known. You'll see a notification banner on the site when it goes live.
What's the maximum score I can get?+
73 points β€” if you correctly predict the winner of every single match across all three provincial competitions and the full All-Ireland knockout stages. The more phases you participate in, the more points you're eligible to earn.
Can I be in more than one group?+
Yes β€” you can create or join as many groups as you like. Your picks and score are the same across all groups, but each group has its own leaderboard. Useful if you want to run a separate competition with work colleagues and with family.
Can other people in my group see my picks?+
Once the championship starts and games begin to lock, picks become visible to others in your group. Before throw-in, your picks are private. This stops anyone gaming the system by waiting to see other people's picks before submitting.
What if two people have the same score on the leaderboard?+
Tied scores are shown at the same rank. If it's still tied at the end of the championship, it's an honourable draw β€” much like a county final replay that never got played.
Is my data safe when I log in with Google?+
Yes. Poc Off never sees your Google password β€” authentication goes directly through Google. We store your display name and email address only. We do not store your profile photo. Your data is never shared or sold. You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from your profile page.
Is Poc Off free?+
Yes, completely free. There are no ads, no premium tiers, no in-app purchases. It exists because hurling fans deserve a proper prediction league.
Can I delete my account?+
Yes β€” go to your profile page and tap "Delete my account" at the bottom. This immediately and permanently deletes your picks, league memberships, and all personal data. This cannot be undone.
